Welcome to The Good Mouring Club

Peer support to connect, belong and share with others who get it.

A space where you can connect with fellow grievers going through a similar experience, access resources, and feel part of a supportive community.

Loss is lonely.

When the unexpected happens, it can feel like you’re living in a completely different world and becoming a new person.

Feeling lost, confused and like no one really understands what you’re going through can be overwhelming in a world that doesn’t make space for your grief.

But guess what? You’re not alone. The Good Mourning Club is here to offer you a place to express yourself, find new like-minded friends going through a similar experience, and feel like you belong.

Through forums and groups, you’ll be able to connect with others who are going through a similar loss, are a similar age, live near you or are experiencing the same ‘griefy’ issues (hello, brain fog, anxiety, burnout, loneliness, insomnia…).

Expand your support circle and share your thoughts and experiences during live peer group calls hosted by Sal and Im and access resources that will educate and empower you.

Say goodbye to feeling misunderstood and alone, and hello to The Good Mourning Club, where we learn from each other, and remind ourselves that even in the toughest times, there’s always hope

Your path to feeling less alone after loss starts here.

Are you...

Then The Good Mourning Club is for you.

"The way that you two have made it easier for me to have a conversation about grief is life-changing. Listening to each of you talk about your feelings and then asking your community how we feel, brings connection. You care about this community. You truly want to help and educate people about the reality of grief. Thank you both. Continue this great work, you make such a difference."

– Sheila, Good Mourning Community Member

Our story

Brought to you by Sal and Im, the creators of the top global podcast Good Mourning, authors of Good Mourning: Honest conversations about grief and loss.

We’re Sal and Im, co-hosts of the Good Mourning podcast. Like you, we understand how isolating grief can be and how vital connection is when coping with challenging times.

After years of creating our podcast and growing our community of listeners, there’s one question we constantly get from people. “How do I find the Sal to my Im?”.

We love seeing the sense of community and connection that our podcast and social media brings. But we knew there had to be a better way to help others connect on a deeper level, and have the chance to meet like-minded grievers.

That’s why we created this club – to provide a space for you to find your grief friends, feel supported, and belong. It’s a place of peer support, friendship, and genuine connection.

We're here to remind you that you're not alone.

It’s our mission to help you feel less alone in your grief.

You’ll get to hang out with Sal and Im virtually, ask burning questions, and meet others going through a similar situation. Unlike other grief support meetings, there’s a number of ways you can connect with others, via video calls, our community forums or instant messaging.

Whatever your situation and however long it’s been, there are people who understand. Discover what it’s like to learn and grow within a supportive community of others just like you.

Our values

being friendly, generous and considerate

supporting and helping others

uniting people who have shared common experiences

"In my deepest grief you helped me so much. On the outside I looked like I was coping okay, but on the inside I was broken. All my griefy thoughts and feelings were validated. It's been a little over three years since I lost my 15 year old daughter and I'm forever changed. Thank you for sharing your experiences and connecting your community – you don't know how much you have helped. Grateful for you both."
